Made for the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, the Cattleman Fur Felt Australian Western Hat by Akubra was chosen for its embodiment of the hat worn by Australian cattlemen. Along with a UPF 50+ sun protection rating, this hat provides protection for the nose, ear, and back of neck thanks to the curved brim. The teardrop crown sports metal eyelets for ventilation. Lastly, a layered hat band with brass fittings wraps around the body of the Cattleman.

The Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, is located in Longreach, Queensland, established in 1988. The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame & Outback heritage center is a museum that pays homage to the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
